Hey there! Today, I want to share a message of encouragement that’s close to my heart. I must admit, not every season in my life feels inspiring.
People often see the good things I have going on: the books I write, the professional photos, and the smiles I share. But what they don’t see is the woman waiting for her promises to come to fruition. They don’t witness the struggle I face while trying to pray and read the Word. They aren’t aware of the negative thoughts that sometimes invade my mind, or the tears I shed in silence.
They don’t see the moments when I grow attached to people I’m not meant to be with, only to find myself heartbroken when God reveals it’s time to walk away. They don’t see the woman who, at times, feels like giving up on her purpose, yet knows deep down that she cannot.
I’m here to tell you that, despite these challenges, life goes on, and God is still in control. A line from an old hymn came to mind today: “I got a feeling that everything’s gonna be alright.” Take a moment to reflect on those lyrics and remind yourself of their truth.
Maybe you’re facing obstacles or standing before a giant in your own life, but remember: God is still in control.
So, hold on to hope and keep moving forward. Everything is going to be alright!
